iWork for iCloud updated with several improvements across the board

June 25, 2014

The latest round of updates to iWork for iCloud have now begun rolling out to users and there’s plenty of welcomed changes and improvements happening across the board.

Some of the improvements apply to the service all around while others hit on key improvements for Pages for iCloud, Numbers for iCloud and Keynote for iCloud. First up, the apps specifically.

  • Pages for iCloud now remembers your last used document settings including zoom level, show/hide format panel, show/hide guides, and more.
  • Numbers for iCloud now remembers your last used document settings including zoom level, last selected sheet, show/hide format panel, show/hide guides, and more.
  • Keynote for iCloud now remembers your last used document settings including zoom level, last selected slide, show/hide format panel, show/hide guides, and more

And improvements made to the service overall:

  • Suggests your most recent screen name when you open a shared document
  • Includes tips on how to cut, copy and paste using keyboard shortcuts when you right-click on objects
  • Includes the ability to right-click to mask images

That’s a nice batch of changes so if you’ve been using iWork for iCloud go ahead and give them a go. You can access them all just by heading on over to the iCloud site and logging into your Apple account. Once you do, be sure to let us know how they’re working out for you!
